About Luke

Luke graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2009. Working initially in the NHS he gained a wealth of experience in general foot care skills, wound and diabetic management. In 2009, Luke was also accepted to volunteer his podiatry services at the UK ‘Special Olympics’ held in Leicester.

In 2012 Luke relocated to Australia and focused on developing his biomechanical and sports management skills. Luke has worked in a variety of podiatry clinics which included a multidisciplinary sports clinic. This involved the screening of junior athletes at a local sports academy, and in the rehabilitation and management of amateur to Olympic level athletes. While sports management is Luke’s passion, he also understands the huge role that podiatrists have in diabetic management, and in helping manage our
aging population.

Outside work Luke enjoys spending time with his family, watching his 2 children play sports, playing and watching soccer and taking his dog Custard for walks.
